The Viscount Craigavon

Janric Craig, 3rd Viscount Craigavon, was born in 1944 into a famous Ulster family and was educated at Eton College and the University of London, where he graduated with both a BA and a BSc. In 1974, he succeeded to his father's title and entered House of Lords. He was one of the hereditary peers elected to remain in the House of Lords in 1999. He is a member of the Parliamentary Humanist Group and has spoken in favour of assisted dying for the terminally ill.
He is interested in moral education and is an adviser and former trustee of the Progress Educational Trust.
