Novelist and media personality
A J West was born in Milton Keynes in 1982 and attended comprehensive school before studying English Literature at the University of Central Lancashire. Today, he is a bestselling novelist (The Spirit Engineer and The Betrayal of Thomas True), media personality, and former BBC television newsreader. His fascination with history has taken him back in time to Edwardian Belfast, Georgian London, and the streets of 1950s San Francisco. A publishing communications specialist and advocate for LGBT rights, he is a proud humanist and believes people are at their most charming when asking questions.
