Join us for this powerful documentary exploring how American Christian Nationalists are censoring and targeting libraries, and discuss efforts to export such tactics to the UK.
Throughout history, libraries have been targets of theocratic, and authoritarian movements. UK public and school libraries have faced increasing pressure from far right groups and even elected officials to remove LGBTQ books and other content.
Join us for a relaxed screening of this award winning documentary, and to discuss what - as humanists - we can do to stand up for the values libraries represent when and where they are under threat.
