Northern Ireland Humanists’ massively popular event ‘A Night of Humanism’ will return in January 2020 and tickets are on sale now. Hosted by Northern Ireland Humanists patron, comedian Tim McGarry, the event will also feature comedy from Humanists UK Vice President Shappi Khorsandi, and an opportunity to learn about the work that humanists are doing to advance rational thinking and kindness in Northern Ireland.
Celebrating a year of triumph for the volunteer and staff team of Northern Ireland Humanists following successful campaigns to legalise abortion, same-sex marriage, and humanist weddings, humanists and friends from across Northern Ireland will return to the historic Belfast arts venue The Black Box for a night of comedy, craic, and humanism on 20 January.

Announcing the event, Northern Ireland Humanists Coordinator Boyd Sleator said: ‘We’re delighted to once again be putting on this hugely popular evening event. There’ll be drinks, there’ll be laughter, and there’ll be plenty to inspire you and start off 2020 on the right foot. If you’ve never been to a humanist event before, ‘A Night of Humanism’ is a great introduction and a great way to begin what we hope will be a year of continued optimism and progress in Northern Ireland.’
Tickets are on sale at humanists.uk/events/a-night-of-humanism-2020.
