Darwin Day Meetup | Nottingham Humanists
February 12th is Darwin Day - a time of the year to reflect on Charles Darwin's work, which expanded our understanding of evolution and how life develops. On the subsequent Sunday, February 15th, Nottingham Humanists will be making a short visit to the musuem at Wollaton Hall for an hour or so to commemerate this occassion, followed by a gentle walk down to The Wollaton pub for social drinks and chats on the subject.
Not only that, but the good people from Leicester Humanists will also be joining us, so will be a great opportunity to engage with other like-minded folks too!
Wollaton Hall has an entrance fee of £15 (which does cover return visits for a year from the day of purchase). Some may wish to instead just join us at The Wollaton pub for around 1pm when we intend to arrive.
It is also worth mentioning there will be a one-off event called 'The Science Festival' at Wollaton Hall too, which will no doubt add more to the day!
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
We welcome any donations, which help us with the running of the group so we can put on more great events!
