Come along to our October social for a relaxed afternoon of conversation with other humanists. No set topic - we talk about whatever's on people's minds.
We have tea, coffee and biscuits to keep us fortified. At our last meeting we started out by discussing whether England is still a Christian nation, but soon broadened our thoughts to other aspects of religious and secular life.
This meeting coincides with Halloween, which gives us a chance to hear what people make of seasonal festivals. Is this just another money-making opportunity, or does it address a deeper need? Come with your own ideas and contribute as much or as little as you want. We're looking forward to meeting new people and seeing old friends.
This event is free to attend, but we welcome any donations, which help with our running costs.
