Join us for an evening of friendly humanist conversation with a welcoming and like-minded community.

Our pub socials (third Tuesday of every month) are a great introduction to our community for newcomers and a chance to catch up with friends for regulars. You can meet our volunteers and learn more about future events, or just unwind and enjoy the company.

Every month we pick a topic and share some related articles on our Facebook page and WhatsApp community. But the focus is on open and friendly conversation. Whether you want to discuss the deep questions of the universe and pressing political events, or your hobbies and latest TV show, you’re very welcome to pull up a seat and join us.

Pub quiz

Our table is booked from 19.00-20.30, afterwards some members may be staying on for the pub quiz. This is a weekly event organised by Jump Entertainments Quiz Nights and separate registration is required. Join our WhatsApp community to find a team or visit their Facebook page for more information.

If you’re a humanist, humanist-curious, or humanist-friendly, you’re very welcome at our events. We’re sure you’ll learn something interesting and meet some cool people. Our inclusive local group brings non-religious people together to be happier and more fulfilled and to be a force for good in our community. About the venue

The Railway Pub is opposite Burgess Hill station and is within a 5 minute walk from both the Oakwood Road and Burgess Hill Railway Station bus stops, as well as multiple car parks. There is onsite parking and disabled access (via the rear entrance or beer garden). A full drinks and food menu is available. Look for the Haywards Heath Humanists sign on the table.

This event is free, though you need to purchase your own refreshments. We welcome any donations, which help with our running costs.
