Join us to discover and celebrate how humanist values have shaped the ongoing struggle for LGBT equality, and consider the lessons for our community.
This event will highlight the historical and contemporary roles humanists have played in advancing LGBT rights, discuss current challenges facing LGBT communities, and consider how humanist approaches can foster inclusion, solidarity, and social progress. Through dialogue, reflection, and real-world examples, we’ll look at how humanism supports the ongoing struggle for equal rights and equitable treatment for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
We will look ahead to Pride, and consider how Haywards Heath Humanists can continue the humanist movement’s proud tradition of standing up for LGBT rights. We’ll also consider what lessons the LGBT rights movement has for humanist activism and community building.

Welcome to Haywards Heath Humanists
If you’re a humanist, humanist-curious, or humanist-friendly, you’re very welcome at our events. We’re sure you’ll learn something interesting and meet some cool people. Our inclusive local group brings non-religious people together to be happier and more fulfilled and to be a force for good in our community.
