Faith to Faithless Helpline Volunteer

Faith to Faithless was founded in 2015 to raise awareness of apostasy and support those who have left religions and cults in the UK. We stage regular panel discussion events as well as hosting apostate socials and peer support meetings. Faith to Faithless supports people who have left many religions and cults including ex-Evangelical Christians, ex-Ultra-Orthodox Jews, ex-Muslims, ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses, and others.

Faith to Faithless are launching a brand new helpline for apostates in autumn 2022, the first dedicated call service for people leaving high-control religions and cults, and we’re looking for committed, compassionate volunteers to join us. You will be a motivated, dedicated, and organised person with great communication skills, who is enthusiastic about volunteering your time and skills to support individuals leaving high control religions or cults (also known as apostates). You will have lived experience or understanding of the issues apostates face, and a kind and empathic approach to working with others.
