'What is humanism?' with Luke Donnellan | Cornwall Humanists

Please join us for our regular online monthly meeting, where this May we are welcoming the Director of Understanding Humanism at Humanists UK, Luke Donnellan. Luke is responsible for Humanists UK's education resources, school speaker programme, and teacher training. He'll speak about what humanism is, how its different features might link together, and what is the best way to talk about it to support understanding and avoid potential misconceptions.

About our speaker:
As Director of Understanding Humanism, Luke is responsible for promoting the understanding of humanism, especially in formal education settings. He manages Humanists UK’s school speakers programme, teacher training and CPD, and the production of educational resources, and speaks about humanism to a variety of audiences. He is the co-author of Understanding Humanism (Routledge, 2023), editor of two online courses (Introducing humanism and Humanist lives), and has contributed articles to RE Today and Teach Primary magazines.
