Walk, Talk and Fork: Crosby to Waterloo | Liverpool Humanists

Registration is closed for this event
28 September 2025, 11:00 -- 15:00

A large group of people in walking gear smiling on a stony beach under a blue sky. The Happy Human logo and 'Liverpool Humanists' at the top of the image.

We invite you to meet friends old and new, and enjoy a Sunday morning stroll along the coast from Crosby to Waterloo, taking in Anthony Gormley's Iron Men statues at  'Another Place'.

Meet up at Hall Road Station car park (on Merseyrail Northern Line) at 11:00.

We will walk the short distance to the Crosby Beach RNLI Lifeguard Station, then continue along the coastal path and beach, past the whole length of Anthony Gormley's Iron Men statues.

Finishing at the lake in Waterloo, at 12.45, we will enjoy lunch together at The Lake House Restaurant - if the walk doesn't suit you, you are welcome to just meet us there.

Afterwards, travel back from nearby Waterloo station.

Wear clothes suitable for the weather. If it is really bad, we can just meet at The Lake House at 12.45 for lunch. To go direct to the Lake House, use Waterloo Station or the Lakeside car park.

Whether you're humanist, humanist-friendly, just curious or even skeptical, you'll be made very welcome. We do hope you'll join us!
