Trans Day of Remembrance
LGBT Humanists and Humanists UK will be observing Trans Day of Remembrance on 20 November, to remember and mourn the trans people in the UK and around the world who have been murdered this year due to transphobic violence. As LGBT Humanists we stand for empathy and concern for the rights of all humans, and we wanted to come together, to reflect on how we can do more as a community to support trans people, and to share our outrage at the violence being perpetrated against trans people everyday. Whist we are a non-religious group we welcome people of all beliefs to come together for the ceremony to be held at Fitzrovia Chapel, in solidarity and support.
