Natalja's Stories by Inger Christensen | Leicester Humanists Book Club

This month we are reading Natalja's Stories, by Inger Christensen.
Known primarily as a poet, Inger Christensen (1935–2009) remains one of Denmark’s most distinguished and original authors. Natalja’s Stories is about the fate of a migrant, and, as her story is told and retold by different family members, the book focuses on the way language creates and shapes meaning. The story is retold as the realities and identities shift.
Have you read Christensen's poetry? What did you think of the way the story is told?
