In Liverpool we have Pride!

Pride in Liverpool: We are proud to be Human, proud to be Humanist, proud to be sexual. Join Liverpool Humanists, LGBT Humanists, Humanists UK, and 20,000 others on Saturday 27 July 2024 as we celebrate our rich diversity of human love and sexuality, guided by human reason, knowledge, compassion and understanding.

March with Pride has always been a protest and is the centrepiece of the Pride in Liverpool weekend. Over 20,000 people are expected to take to the streets of Liverpool City Centre in celebration - but also protest against prejudice, injustice, and hate - as Pride returns for another year.

The planned route will start at St. George’s Hall Plateau, mustering from 10:30 to 11:30 on the steps of St George's Plateau. The procession will then move through the city centre and the Pride Quarter before making its way to the world-famous Waterfront.

The Liverpool Humanists group has pre-registered to participate in this year's march; everyone is welcome to join us, whether members or allies of the LGBT+ community. The Pride festival is free to attend. We hope to have enough T-shirts and banners/placards to go round!
