30 May 2026, 11:45 -- 13:45

🌈 Join York Humanists at York Pride 2026! 🌈

We’re excited to be marching in this year’s York Pride on Saturday 30 May — and everyone is welcome to join us!

📍 Meet us from 11:45 on the corner of Market Street and Parliament Street, in York (next to Costa).
🚶‍♀️ We’ll then join the Pride march together at midday, as it heads to the Knavesmire for a fantastic day of celebration, community, and solidarity.

Come along to celebrate equality, inclusion, reason, and human rights with fellow humanists and friends. Whether you’re a long-time member or simply curious about humanism, we’d love to see you there!

Look out for the LGBT+ Humanists banner and purple t-shirts, and bring your brightest Pride colours! 🏳️‍🌈

Please register so we know to expect you.  Hope to see you there!

Pride parades are one of the most important events in our annual calendar. They give us a unique opportunity to promote humanism to thousands of people in the LGBT+ community.

They allow us to network and develop relationships with organisations that share similar goals. And they allow us to celebrate the contribution that humanists have made throughout history to LGBT+ rights, freedom of expression, and towards building a fairer, more rational society.
