Our first meeting of 2026 is an opportunity to share our personal stories. Contributions from all will be welcomed, though not compulsory; if you prefer to listen to the stories of others as a way to deepen your understanding of humanism, that’s absolutely fine too. Some of our committee will act as facilitators, sharing their own stories to set a tone of openness and, hopefully, encouraging others to do the same.

We will establish guidelines together, to ensure everyone understands the importance of confidentiality, respect, and inclusivity. We aim to create and maintain a safe, non-judgmental space that is conducive to meaningful conversations and personal growth. We – like all humanists – do not tolerate aggression, harassment, or hate speech.
