Trip to Manchester to watch the Holyoake Lecture 2025 – Lost boys: a personal journey through the manosphere, with James Bloodworth | Liverpool Humanists
Many humanists are concerned about the role of toxic masculinity in the ongoing demise of caring societies. The topic of this year's Holyoake Lecture could not be more pertinent. James Bloodworth's ‘manosphere’ is a world of paranoid conspiracies, aggressive misogyny, and radical authoritarian-right politics. Share his astonishing personal journey into its darkest corners.
We suggest travelling on the 17:51 from Lime Street (though alternative trains are available if you're running late), and returning on the 22:11 from Manchester Oxford Road or the 22:39 from Manchester Victoria. The event begins at 19:00, and ends at 20:30.
Liverpool Humanists has obtained a special rate of £5 for the Holyoake Lecture, and we advise you to purchase your own train tickets in advance.
We hope you can join us for what promises to be a great night out!
