Group visit to the British Science Festival 2025 | Liverpool Humanists

Registration is closed for this event
13 September 2025, 16:30 -- 17:30

An evening view of the illuminated Liver Building and Liverpool Canal, with Liverpool Humanists and the Happy Human logo in the top left corner against a deep blue skyThe British Science Festival is Europe’s longest standing science festival, travelling to a different location in the United Kingdom each year. This year's event will take place at various venues in Liverpool between 10-14 September 2025.

Liverpool Humanists will be attending the Bluecoat Performance Space as a group on 13 September, to hear the talk entitled 'Searching for Science’s Invisible Women', where Greg Lynall of Liverpool University will reveal women’s contributions to some of science’s big moments, which for too long have been undocumented, obscured, dismissed or even ridiculed.

You will need to reserve your free tickets for the talk itself here.

We'd love you to join us both for the talk and, afterwards, for refreshments and a chat in St Peter's Tavern - a former church now gratifyingly converted into a grand public house! Please register so we have an idea of numbers. Liverpool Humanists will be at the Bluecoat Performanace Space from 16:15 to greet you.
