Ex-Ultra-Orthodox Jews: Coming out, with Q&A

The ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities can be one of the most insular and difficult to contact religious groups in the UK. Even harder is leaving your faith while in that community.
For the first time ever, Faith to Faithless presents three speakers from this community to speak about their experience leaving their faith, and to share their journeys. Some of these speakers are appearing in public for the first time as ex-ultra-Orthodox Jews, so come down, hear their stories and show your support!
There will be three speakers and a open question-and-answer session, moderated by our chair Imtiaz Shams. Audience members will have have the chance to ask questions and share their own experiences too.
Inclusivity is important to us: this event is open to all.
Faith to Faithless is a programme of Humanists UK, and since its launch in 2015 its videos have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, has led to Vice and BBC documentaries and articles and reviews in The Times, The Spectator, and The Guardian.
Please note that doors open at 19:00 for a 19:30 start.
