Apostasy Conference 2021 – Roundtable B | Services for apostates
In this roundtable discussion we will be encouraging participants to enter breakout groups to discuss what barriers and issues apostates face when accessing services. We hope this roundtable will explore how easy apostates find talking about being an apostate, how apostasy can and should be recorded, and what consequences arise if services are unaware of the status of an apostate so as to better inform service providers and policy makers about the work they need to do to protect apostates and make their services more accessible.
This discussion will feed into presentations at the half-day conference attended by service providers and other professionals and will support the work of Faith to Faithless in supporting service providers to make systemic changes.
