Wales Humanists has published a table comparing the major parties’ policies on some of the most important issues to humanists – including inclusive education, religious discrimination in healthcare, and humanist marriages. It is also asking people to write to their candidates ahead of Thursday’s election, to make sure the voices of humanists are heard this election.
Wales Humanists has identified a number of top humanist priorities. These include replacing collective worship with inclusive assemblies, eliminating religious selection from state school admissions, equal funding for non-religious pastoral support in healthcare settings, and legal recognition of humanist marriages.
Wales Humanists is independent of all political parties and does not support, fund, or advocate any particular political party.
