Support our work for freedom of religion or belief
This year, our Annual Fundraising Dinner is in support of freedom of religion or belief, at home and abroad. The freedom to choose your beliefs, to subscribe to a religion or to leave one, to believe in a god or none is a human right. And it’s one that is still violated and ignored in many societies across the world. We’re working to change that.
Whether it’s our work with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to spread awareness of the persecution of humanists in theocratic regimes, our cooperation with the UN to ensure the safety of ‘blasphemers’ around the world and bring an end to barbaric blasphemy laws, our delivering of Faith to Faithless training on so-called ‘apostates’ to the Metropolitan Police, or the assistance we provide to asylum seekers to avoid deportation to countries which kill humanists – we do incredibly important and life-changing work, day in and day out. But we need the support of the humanist community to continue with our freedom of religion or belief projects.
Please join us for an entertaining and rewarding evening, with a fabulous dinner and fun auction, in support to help us in the fight to secure and defend human rights at home and abroad.
