An Evening with Ian McEwan

An Evening with Ian McEwan

Registration is closed for this event
06 April 2016, 19:00 -- 22:30

Ian McEwan is one of Britain’s most known and best-loved authors, and is a Patron of the British Humanist Association. This will be an intimate night, with you, Ian, and some of the BHA’s Patrons. Join us first for a drinks reception with delicious canapes, before we hear from Ian McEwan in a fascinating dialogue with our chair for the evening, Natalie Haynes.

The night will also be a welcome occasion to celebrate the BHA’s recent successes and reflect on the challenges ahead of us with good company.

All proceeds will go towards our crucial work this year, spanning everything from strategic litigation to defend our humanist pastoral care programme and in pursuit of a secular education system, as well as ambitious educational projects like sending Michael Rosen’s What is Humanism? to every primary school in the UK.

This is vital work, and buying a ticket for the event will make an enormous contribution to our goal of a secular state ensuring human rights for all.

There are a very limited number of tickets for this special event, so please register your place below or simply call the office on 020 7324 3060. It would be lovely to see you there.
