In July this year a child in Liverpool died of measles – a completely preventable illness. In the North West, only 85% of children are vaccinated, with even lower rates in Liverpool (73%) and Manchester (75%). The World Health Organization recommends 95% coverage to ensure herd immunity. The gap isn’t just a statistic – it’s a vulnerability exploited by misinformation.
