In conversation with Andrew Copson | Oxford Humanists (Fully booked))
Update 9 October: The event is currently fully booked. It's great to see such enthusiasm for our launch, but unfortunately we have reached the hard limit on the venue's capacity.
It's time to celebrate! Please join us at a reception to support the launch of Oxford Humanists. All members and friends are welcome!
Oxford Humanists are thrilled to be hosting a launch event to celebrate and recognise the local humanist community. Whether you're humanist, humanist-friendly, or just humanist-curious, we would love to see you there. We have a relaxed agenda but please register early so you don’t miss out!
What can you expect on the night?
- Attendees will hear from Andrew Copson, CEO of Humanists UK, who will be joining us in person to mark the occasion.
- Soft refreshments and nibbles will be provided (with a wider range of drink options available at bar prices).
- An introduction to the Oxford Humanists volunteer team, and our upcoming events programme.
- Plenty of time to socialise, meet new and existing friends and share your thoughts on humanism in Oxford.
The Oxford Humanists Local Group has a goal to bring non-religious people together to be happier, more fulfilled and to act as a force for good in our community. We have a growing social group and are keen to build upon this and support a full programme of social and educational events over the coming year.
If you're keen on learning more about humanism, interested in joining future events, willing to donate time or money to help us grow, or simply wish to socialise with like-minded people, we would love to see you at our launch!
This event is free to join! Please register early to confirm your place and help us manage numbers for catering. For any questions contact our Event Lead (Andrew) or Coordinators (Lou and Philippa).
We can’t wait to see you there!
