Have you received a call from us?
If you have received a call from someone saying that they are from Humanists UK, here’s everything you need to know about our callers.
We are conducting a telephone fundraising campaign with a company called QTS during June 2024, so if you are an existing supporter you may receive a call.
If you received a call from 07458 122860, it was us trying to reach you. It wasn’t anything urgent, and we may try to call again.
Why did I receive a call?
We get in touch with our supporters by telephone to keep them up to date on our work, and to thank them for supporting us.
Sometimes we need to ask for more help with an important fundraising campaign.
You might receive calls from our staff and volunteers or from a professional telephone agency, who we engage to help us to reach more people, and more quickly than we can by using our usual social media or direct mail communications.
Who will I be speaking to?
Whether you receive a call from our staff and volunteers or our agency, QTS, the caller will identify themselves, who they work for, and why they are calling you.
Staff and volunteers can also set up your membership as well as take a debit or credit card donation over the phone, if you wish to support us.
The agency callers can set up or amend your direct debit for donations or your membership over the phone.
The agency are unable to take debit or credit card donations, and will put you in touch with our staff and volunteers to assist you with this.
