Wikipedia is the world's largest open source encyclopedia and its fifth-most visited site. It's also many people's first stop for finding out about a subject: a jumping off point for learning more. But even though anyone can edit Wikipedia, it has a diversity problem.

This edit-a-thon will focus on improving the representation of LGBT humanists on Wikipedia, in history and today. This includes individuals, organisations, events, and achievements, addressing the underrepresentation of both LGBT people and the non-religious on Wikipedia.

No previous editing experience is required as training will be given, but if you're already familiar with Wikipedia, come along anyway – we'll have plenty of suggestions for pages to work on! Meet other people, learn more about LGBT history and Wikipedia, and find out which other Wiki projects you can get involved in.
