A Night of Humanism comes to Cardiff: Ideas, laughs, and a fresh perspective

27 March, 2025

Bringing together comedians, scientists, campaigners, and more, A Night of Humanism promises to be an evening of thought-provoking ideas and light-hearted entertainment – and you’re invited. Hosted at The Glee Club Cardiff on 13 May, this event from Humanists UK and Wales Humanists will offer an informal and engaging exploration of humanist thinking, with short, sharp 20-minute sets from each of our guests. Tickets are available to book now.

From science to ethics, history to humour, expect a mix of big questions, fresh perspectives, and plenty of laughs.

A fun and welcoming introduction to humanism, this lively evening blends big ideas with great entertainment in a relaxed, social setting. Following two previous outings in Belfast, to sell-out audiences of hundreds of humanists – and building on the success of Humanists UK Convention 2024 in Cardiff – A Night of Humanism Cardiff is designed to be an accessible and welcoming introduction to humanist ideas, offering a mix of thoughtful reflection and light-hearted entertainment. With a fully stocked bar and an atmosphere designed for enjoyment as much as insight, A Night of Humanism is the perfect way to explore life’s biggest questions – without taking things too seriously.

Whether you’re familiar with humanism or simply curious about different ways of seeing the world, A Night of Humanism invites open minds and a sense of fun at Glee Club Cardiff on 13 May.
