At this free event, join Northern Ireland Humanists to hear from Professor John Barry, who will speak and answer questions on 'The Planetary Emergency: where ethics and politics meet scientific realities' at The Great Hall, Queen's University, Belfast.

Professor Barry is co-chair of the Belfast Climate Commission and a humanist. He has a particular research interest in the ethics of a just transition to a green economy. This is a great opportunity for you to hear the issues and think through a humanist response to the climate emergency.

The talk will be followed by an opportunity for lots of questions. If you have heard John talk before you will know how keen he is to engage with the audience.
