York Humanists would like to invite you to a BBQ on Wednesday 19 August!

The event will take place in the gardens of Ambassador Court on The Mount, York, just 10 minutes walk from the train station. 

Whether you're a long-standing member of York Humanists or have only recently joined us, we'd love you to come along for an enjoyable summer evening. This will be a great opportunity to relax, meet new people, catch up with friends, and enjoy good food and conversation in a welcoming and informal setting.

We hope the BBQ will be a chance for everyone to spend time together outside of our regular meetings, share ideas, and strengthen the sense of community that makes York Humanists such a friendly and supportive group. Feel free to bring along your favourite drink and salad contribution to help make the evening a memorable one (please label any allergens).

There is a small charge of £5 per person to help cover the cost of the food. We will provide vegetarian burgers, vegetable and halloumi skewers, bruschetta, and buns. Please register so we know how many to cater for.

We are also grateful for any donations towards ongoing running costs for this volunteer-led group.

Limited parking is available at the rear of the building. The evening will start at 19:00. If you are planning to come, please arrive between 18:50 and 19:10 so that we can open the gates for you.
