If you would like to meet others who have left high-control religious groups, then please join us for our monthly social in Peterborough for coffee and a chat.

This will be our first event in Peterborough, but we intend for these to be monthly going forward. It will be a safe space to make friends and talk with people who share a similar past. On average we get about ten people attending these events and they tend to be a mixture of ex-Muslim, ex-Jehovah's Witness, ex-Evangelical, and other groups. You won't be the only person who is new, we have new people at every event.

Your host will be our volunteer, George, who also has experience of leaving religion. George has a lot of experience with hosting socials for Faith to Faithless, she was instrumental in starting the regular socials in Sheffield, and the socials in Bournemouth. She hopes to do the same with Peterborough and have this be a vibrant community of ex-religious people who meet regularly.

The venue is in a nice cafe in the town centre of Peterborough.
