Join us for a social and informative evening at Queer Britain Museum as they open their doors for a rare evening viewing. Queer Britain (QB) is the National LGBTQ+ Museum and exists to 'reclaim, preserve, and celebrate British LGBTQ+ history and culture'.

We will enjoy a multitude of stories, through six themes in Queer Britain's galleries:

• Resist! – The Black Lesbian and Gay Centre
• Club Kids – 30 Years of Club Kali
• Queer Creativity – Women's Liberation Music
• Body and Mind – AIDS Quilt UK
• Live, Laugh, Love – Dora Carrington and Lytton Strachey
• The World Around Us – Justin Fashanu

Each of the themes is co-curated with a partner — QB is not a museum telling stories about a community, it is a place where the community tells its own story.

In December, QB will have a special exhibition on the campaign to ban conversion practices.

A note from QB: Admission is by ‘pay what you can’ donation — we suggest £10 or £5 if you're under 30 (we operate without any government funding, and are reliant on the generosity of our visitors, members, patrons, and sponsors).

A note from LGBT+ Humanists: Please do not let the admission request of 'pay what you can' deter you from coming along. Join us and we will make our own donation.

Museum Lates are supported by Madame F, so every visitor receives a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival (soft drinks also available), is able to explore our exhibitions and displays, and can even join a guided tour at 19:00.
