Cam Humanists in Action: Building a Humanist Community in Cambridge

23 June 2026, 20:00 -- 21:30

Are you interested in meeting local people, making a positive difference, and helping to build a thriving humanist community in Cambridge?

Join us to hear how local humanists are contributing to community life and discover how you can put your humanist values into action.

As we develop a Humanists UK Local Group for the Cambridge area, we're bringing together people who share humanist values and want to build a welcoming, active, and inclusive local community.

We'll also hear from two guest speakers: a Humanists UK school speaker and a hospital pastoral carer and funeral celebrant, sharing how they put humanist values into action in the Cambridge community.

Whether you're new to humanism or already involved, you'll be very welcome.

Why attend?

  • Meet local people who share your values
  • Learn about volunteering opportunities
  • Find out how to put your humanist values into action
  • Help shape a growing Cambridge humanist community

Hosted by the Cam Humanists Committee, with support from the Humanists UK Local Groups team.
