People who leave high-control religious groups may have experienced a wide range of hardships and abuses as a result of that. These can include mental health issues, homelessness, loss of employment, poverty, threats to life, exclusion, and extreme isolation.

This one-hour online course, with a space for questions and answers at the end, has been designed to introduce you to the topic of leaving controlling religions and how this impacts people, and how best to support them. We deliver this course to anyone who works in a position where they are supporting individuals who may have had this experience. This course is suitable for those who may work for a charitable group, an educational institute, in healthcare, social services, working in therapy, and others.

We also deliver a bespoke half-day on-site training course to whole teams. If this is something you would be interested in, then do let us know.
