We’re fighting for a basic human right – to believe what we like and marry who we love.
Over the last seven years, we’ve campaigned tirelessly for legal recognition of our ceremonies. We’ve built a strong case. And with you by our side, we’re confident we can win. Humanist marriages are already recognised in Scotland, Jersey, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. And the take-up of our ceremonies in these nations has been extraordinary. In Scotland, there are more humanist weddings than Christian weddings each year. Meanwhile, in England and Wales, couples opting for a humanist ceremony have to undergo a separate legal wedding in a registry office. Please – help us bring an end to this inequality.
