Ban Conversion Therapy with Jayne Ozanne | LGBT Humanists

June 5th, 2024 18:00   --   20:00

At Conway Hall, or online, join LGBT Humanists for an evening with Jayne Ozanne (she/her). Jayne is the Founder and Chair of the UK’s Ban Conversion Therapy Coalition, which brings together over 100 organisations who are campaigning for a full ban on 'conversion therapy'. We will consider why this has been a long-standing campaign for LGBT Humanists, the developments in the UK Parliament over recent months and our hopes and plans for the future.

This evening gives us an opportunity to consider issues facing the whole LGBT community as the so-called conversion practices are still allowed to persist. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. We are also acutely aware that this is a sensitive area for many of our members and supporters who have experienced conversion therapy abuse so we want to create an inclusive, supportive and caring evening where we can freely express ourselves but safely and with great care and courtesy for each other.

We meet in the Brockway Room, on the ground floor, which is fully accessible.
