The Welsh Government is proposing to make it illegal for parents to hit their children, on the basis of an enormous wealth of evidence that shows this is both ineffective and harmful to children.
We support these changes, and we’re encouraging everyone who values kindness and rational, evidence-based policy to send in a short note of support alongside the consultation to encourage the Welsh Government to go full steam ahead.
