Lizzi Collinge is the Labour MP for Morecambe and Lunesdale and chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Humanist Group which brings together around 130 MPs and peers.
Lizzi is a strong advocate of humanist causes within the UK Parliament, championing human rights and equality at every opportunity. This includes calling for legal recognition of humanist marriages in England and Wales, the introduction of a safe and compassionate assisted dying law, and for inclusive schools. Lizzi is also a humanist Faith and Belief Champion within the Labour Party, and a patron of Labour Humanists. Prior to her election, Lizzi was a Lancashire County Councillor.
