August 4th, 2024 13:00   --   16:00

Northern Ireland Humanists is proud to partner again with Féile an Phobail to offer this very popular Walking Tour, which draws on the Humanists UK Humanist Heritage Project. On the tour you will learn about Belfast’s rich radical history from the 18th-century Enlightenment, through the Ethical and Radical Societies of the 19th century to the roots of the Civil Rights movement, and right up to today’s campaigns for human rights and a secular society.

The walking tour starts at 13:00 at the City Hall Gates and extends through the Entries, stopping for a break at The Mac, on to Clifton House and Inst, and finishing back at City Hall.
