Much as I admire the many humanist sites I find the philosophy of some a bit too intense and others spending 95% of the time knocking religion but not promoting the alternative – the sense of wonder at the universe we find ourselves in and the achievements of humanity in the field of science. Carl Sagan I think got the balance and the tone right so I welcome your emphasis on the future rather than the past.
