Hi, I'm Tash

I’ve been working with couples to write and conduct bespoke wedding ceremonies since 2014.

It is a pleasure and a privilege to be chosen to mark such an important milestone in people’s lives, or celebrate the life of someone you’ve loved.

Passionate about equal rights for everyone, the environment, and treating others as we wish to be treated ourselves. I like hanging my hat on humanism as it neatly sums up my beliefs that you don’t need to believe in a religion to believe in the innate good in people, and shared values such as kindness, compassion and empathy.

I’d describe myself as an ‘easy-going atheist’. I really enjoy working with people who have had different family religious or cultural backgrounds. One of the beauties of having a humanist ceremony is that it can incorporate a melting pot of different influences, whilst remaining non-religious and focussed on the couple.

I have had consistently brilliant feedback, 5* reviews from couples, some of which can be viewed on Google maps, or on my website.

In March 2025, I achieved a long-held dream and became a registered civil celebrant in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and I am able to conduct legal marriages anywhere in the islands (beaches, boats and even the air!). I'm the first Humanist Ceremonies' female celebrant to join the cohort of civil celebrants on the island.

Tash conducted our wedding ceremony on Sept 14th 24' and it was beautiful. Many of our friends and family went out of their way to tell us that it was the most moving wedding they had ever been to. It was full of laughter and warmth, honest and meaningful. We are so glad we chose Tash to be our celebrant. She spent months getting to know us and writing our unique, bespoke ceremony which included our 'love story', the proposal story and little anecdotes that really exemplified who Wendy and I are as a couple. By the end of it everyone knew exactly why we wanted to get married and how happy we are because she had transmitted our happiness to everyone there.

This was our post wedding message to Tash:

'We are not at all surprised that the ceremony you gave us and all our family and friends was perfect for us. It summed us up, it was full of love, humour, warmth, and kindness. It was meaningful and sincere to just the right degree, and it made everyone in the room feel they were an integral part of our marriage, which was so important to us. We could just follow your directions and feel completely confident because you held it all together with (seeming)complete ease. We felt so happy and safe throughout. You are a consummate celebrant.'

— Wendy & Charlie

Tash was amazing, honestly made our day extra special and memorable, and even got a few unexpected people to shed a tear during the ceremony.

She jumped in a short notice at the time, was very friendly and always found time for us, she enabled us to personalise the ceremony and it all felt very authentic. She found a way to put into words how we felt. Thank you so much Tash, you're the best :)

— Inas & Joe

Where to start with Tash! From the moment we met her she was fun, warm, curious and full of ideas, and gave us the utmost care and attention in the months leading up to our Humanist wedding to ensure everything was perfect and exactly as we'd hoped. She wrote us the most beautiful ceremony and made sure every one of our guests felt included and comfortable - right down to the Mexican wave! Hopefully this is my only wedding, but I wouldn't hesitate to call on her again!

— Lily & Nick

Tash was a fantastic celebrant at our wedding. We met several times. She listened carefully to our story, incorporated things we wanted to say and and wrote a sparkling, humorous and at times emotional script which held our friends and family spellbound. She was a delight to work with and we felt safe in her hands throughout the whole process.

We chose Tasha to be our celebrant for our personalised, humanist ceremony in October this year. Tasha is lovely - so friendly and open and really passionate about her job. We thoroughly enjoyed our meetings with Tasha and she really helped us shape our thinking in what we wanted as we had no idea when we started. We didn't think we were sentimental people but Tasha made us realise there was lots to our relationship worth shouting about and it doesn't have to be a big romantic gush of love to be a perfect wedding ceremony. The final result was amazing - everyone loved the ceremony, it made them laugh and cry, and our family and friends thought that Tasha knew us personally - that's how good it was! I would not hesitate to recommend Tasha as your celebrant.

— Sarah & Mikey

We had an absolutely dream ceremony. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate in a way that was so personal to us and in line with our values. Tash was extremely generous with her time and really got to know us in the run-up to the big day. As a result, lots of people commented that it was like having a friend of the family run the ceremony. It was everything we could ever have wanted and a moment we will never forget.

— Ruth & Richard

Natasha really got to know us as a couple & made the whole year a fun & anxiety-free experience. Thank you so much.

— Rachel & Ayman

Tasha was friendly, supportive and made us feel at ease throughout the process. She went above and beyond in suggesting readings, advising on the ceremony and meeting/calling us several times before the big day. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.

— Amy & Anton
