I’ve been working with couples to write and conduct bespoke wedding ceremonies since 2014.
It is a pleasure and a privilege to be chosen to mark such an important milestone in people’s lives, or celebrate the life of someone you’ve loved.
Passionate about equal rights for everyone, the environment, and treating others as we wish to be treated ourselves. I like hanging my hat on humanism as it neatly sums up my beliefs that you don’t need to believe in a religion to believe in the innate good in people, and shared values such as kindness, compassion and empathy.
I’d describe myself as an ‘easy-going atheist’. I really enjoy working with people who have had different family religious or cultural backgrounds. One of the beauties of having a humanist ceremony is that it can incorporate a melting pot of different influences, whilst remaining non-religious and focussed on the couple.
I have had consistently brilliant feedback, 5* reviews from couples, some of which can be viewed on Google maps, or on my website.
In March 2025, I achieved a long-held dream and became a registered civil celebrant in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and I am able to conduct legal marriages anywhere in the islands (beaches, boats and even the air!). I'm the first Humanist Ceremonies' female celebrant to join the cohort of civil celebrants on the island.
