Hello! my name is Philippa (she/her).

As a Humanist Wedding Celebrant, I create and deliver joyful, heartfelt non-religious ceremonies to celebrate your wedding, commitment, elopement or vow renewal.

 I believe that life's important milestones should be celebrated and celebrated your way.

That's the beauty of a Humanist wedding ceremony: it can be utterly original or resonant with tradition - you get to decide.

My aim is to create, craft and deliver a ceremony that reflects you and your unique love story.

I take the time to listen to you, really hear your story, and then together we collaboratively create a deeply personal ceremony that you will remember for a lifetime.

You might know exactly what you want and just need my help to realise it, or you mightn't know at all and I can guide you through the process and offer suggestions.

Where I work

I live in South West Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District and work across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.

I can also undertake ceremonies on Ynys Mon/Isle of Anglesey and North Wales.

I may be able to travel further afield if you think I'm right for you, but you may need to allow for travel expenses if so (which would be agreed beforehand - so no unpleasant surprises).

This includes:

- an in-depth planning session to discuss your ceremony

- advice on readings, symbolic gestures and music (if required)

- the production of a bespoke wedding script

- delivery of your ceremony

- a presentation copy of the script

- a commemorative certificate (optional)

They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
