I’m an accredited Humanists UK celebrant, and I lead non-religious weddings and civil partnerships throughout London and further afield.

Supporting couples to create a ceremony that genuinely reflects their relationship, values, and hopes for the future is both a privilege and a joy. Every couple is unique, and I am committed to crafting a ceremony that feels completely authentic to you — one that celebrates your story with warmth, sincerity, and inclusivity. Thirty years working in higher education and the arts as a relatively small-stature mixed-race woman provided excellent preparation for the role of celebrant. Over the years I have organised countless events and have enjoyed writing and presenting talks, lectures, and speeches. However, the skills I have come to value most highly are those that are often overlooked: listening carefully, being fully present, and creating space for others to tell their stories. I work across London and Greater London but can also lead ceremonies outside London where circumstances allow.

Fees from...

My standard fee for a ceremony is £850 which is inclusive of meetings, script writing, ongoing communications, delivery on the day, and a presentation copy of the final script. A reduced fee is available for NHS staff, carers, and full-time students.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.

A humanist wedding ceremony is a wonderful option to celebrate your wedding in the way you choose: without religion but with meaning, and totally true to the two of you. They are uplifting and heartwarming occasions, personal to each couple to reflect your personalities and interests, and your love story. Sincere and significant, your ceremony will be crafted to create an occasion which is unique and fitting to you both.
