You’ve probably heard the ‘Your Day, Your Way’ tagline used to describe Humanist weddings, but this is just the tip of the iceberg! When you decide on a celebrant accredited by Humanists UK, you really are in safe, knowledgeable and very capable hands.
As well as being a celebrant, I am a musician, writer, anthropology postgraduate, teacher and lover of people. There is nothing about the lives of others that I don’t find interesting, and there’s nothing about love that I will ever find non-magical. As a Humanist, I tend to ask questions, search for patterns, and often look to science or the natural world for answers. However, when it comes to the unwritten laws of love, I am ALL about the excitement in the not-knowing and the inexplicable ways that love can guide, transform and define us.
My particular flavour of a Humanist ceremony is centred around your unique, perfectly imperfect journey through love. It is a non-religious celebration where you are encouraged to express yourselves authentically and honour your partner meaningfully, whilst creating a welcoming and inclusive space for your friends and family to feel acknowledged and valued.
I think this calls for some celebrant vows!!

I will be present for you when you are sharing your vows or promises, when you need a steady hand or a nod of encouragement.
I am here to be much more than the legal officiant of your marriage. I want to share your joy, whoop with excitement when you seal the deal, and celebrate your version of love with your favourite person.
