A Naming Ceremony with Rebecca
‘I am a humanist Baby Naming celebrant based in London. A humanist Naming ceremony is a lovely way of welcoming a new addition to the family, bringing family and friends together in a creative way to celebrate one of life’s key milestones. For families who want to mark the occasion in a way that isn’t religious, a naming ceremony provides the opportunity to reflect the roles that key people will play in the life of the child or young adult.
Naming ceremonies are perfect for new-borns or toddlers and many are combined with a first birthday celebration, but they don’t have to be limited to young children. They can be held whenever you’re ready: there’s no rush. For older children they can be seen as a rite of passage or a celebration of your child’s growing maturity. They can also be the perfect way to celebrate adopted children or step-children of any age joining a family.
They are always fun, creative and special events to welcome your child into their first social community. I am a trusted and inclusive speaker and writer who loves creating fun, playful and upbeat events all geared around you, the child and the family. Together we can enjoy talking through the best options and choices open to you and pick the most meaningful and suitable.
