Thank you for visiting my Humanist funeral page.
I have been a Humanist Celebrant for the past eight years and have been privileged to work with those arranging funerals and celebration of life ceremonies, creating personal, non-religious ceremonies that honour and commemorate life.
Why Choose a Humanist Funeral?
A Humanist Funeral Ceremony whilst acknowledging the death of a loved one, offers the opportunity to celebrate and remember life.
The ceremony can include personal eulogies, music, readings, poetry, and can include time for quiet reflection too.
It is worth noting that you are not limited to choosing a crematorium or burial site for funerals. You can have a non-religious funeral ceremony at a range of venues including your home which allows for flexibility on time and length of the ceremony. A funeral director should be able to discuss these option with you.
Memorial services or celebration of life services are another option worth considering. These can take place in many different locations, there is no time limit on when they can be held and are therefore not as restrictive as a traditional ceremony and can allow for some time to pass before a ceremony is planned.
Whatever you decide It will be a privilege to work with you to create a personal ceremony that will honour, and truly reflect your loved one.
Pre-Planning
I also offer a "pre-planning" funeral service for those that would like to plan their own funeral or memorial service.
Pre-planning your own funeral can bring comfort and peace of mind to both you and your loved ones, and it is a thoughtful and kind act.
Should you be interested, please get in touch for an informal conversation where we can discuss a range of options available to you.
