I’m Louise, and I specialise in crafting unforgettable Humanist naming ceremonies. As we embark on the incredible journey of life and family, naming ceremonies are a beautiful way to celebrate this new beginning. It’s a special moment to officially welcome your little one, new babies, adopted children, and/or stepchildren into your community and share your dreams and hopes for their future.

As you go through life, you could also choose a Humanist naming ceremony to celebrate a name change, whatever the reason.

My role is to create a unique and meaningful ceremony that perfectly captures your family’s spirit.

We have finally sat down after a very busy and exhausting - but truly wonderful - day! We just wanted to say a huge thank you for today and all of the work leading up to it - it’s been a seamless and relaxed process working with you and the ceremony today was so personal and touching, we’ve had lovely feedback already and I think inspired a few parents to organise a similar event. 

I also didn’t realise you brought a present! How kind of you - we have just discovered it now and we’re so touched, thank you so much it’s a beautiful book! It’s very kind and we really appreciate it.

£250. As each ceremony is as unique as the person at the centre of the celebration, the cost of your ceremony will depend on the length, type of ceremony and location.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.

It focuses on the child, their future and the circle of love and support around them, offering a sincere and personal alternative to a christening or other religious ceremony.
