... a humanist wedding celebrant based in Salisbury. I've been creating and conducting distinctive, non-religious weddings and vow renewal ceremonies for nearly a decade now.
How I will work with you
It is a great privilege to help people celebrate one of the most important events in their lives, and each ceremony I write is unique.
One of the many lovely things about a humanist wedding is how personal and individual it is. It can take place in almost any location, daytime or evening, indoors or outdoors. It can be as dignified and serious, or as romantic and light-hearted as you wish. You can write your own promises and vows; you can symbolize your partnership in whatever way would be right for you.
I work closely with couples, spending time with them and listening carefully to their stories, hopes and ideas. If you choose me as your celebrant, I will help you to shape a ceremony that is entirely personal to you and expresses your love and commitment to each other in the way that best suits your particular style and beliefs.
And I will be there to support you from the moment we book your date in the diary to announcing you as a couple at the end of your ceremony.
What I can bring
Books, music and the visual arts have been life-long pleasures and my working life has been concerned with people, education and the arts.
I love how being a humanist celebrant draws on all the skills and experience I have gathered across the years - writing, public speaking, creating and hosting events and, above all, working with and looking after people.
