You’ve already made one of the biggest decisions – saying “YES” and committing to getting married – and now you’re planning your big day together. Let’s just zoom in there…YOUR big day. And that is where a humanist ceremony comes in. It is all about YOU. It is a unique ceremony that is carefully crafted to tell your story as a couple and perfectly reflect how wonderful you both are!
My name is Lisa, based in Nottingham, and it is my job – and absolute pleasure – as a humanist wedding celebrant to collaborate with couples in creating their bespoke ceremony. Already know exactly what you want? I’ll craft it into a fabulous ceremony. Stuck with how to start your personal vows? Happy to help and guide you. Know you want to include something different and special but feeling a bit lost? Here I am! However you would like your ceremony to look, I guarantee your guests will feel warm, fuzzy and bursting with joy by the end of it. And you? You will feel like your big day has really started with a bang.

Where I work
Being based in South Nottingham, I can work with couples based in Nottinghamshire and surrounding counties. However, I am also happy to travel further afield to other UK locations or beyond – just ask! I’m very used to travelling around the country with family spread between the West Midlands, Norfolk and further south near London.

We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
