Hello! I am a wedding celebrant trained and accredited by Humanists UK. I create and conduct personalised non-religious weddings and vow renewal ceremonies that truly reflect the unique love story of each couple.

What I offer

I work closely with couples to craft bespoke humanist wedding ceremonies that celebrate your relationship and commitment to each other, and tell your love story. Each humanist wedding is unique, authentic and deeply meaningful, to reflect you as a couple and your personalities and interests. You can incorporate any personal elements you choose, including readings, music, singing, and rituals - to make the day uniquely yours.

She was incredibly generous with her time, visiting us at home and taking us through a beautifully tailored introduction, full of thoughtful ideas and inspiration for how we could create the most magical ceremony for us.

Throughout the whole process, Jo was so supportive and accommodating. She made time for multiple calls, conversations and script changes, always taking the time to listen to what mattered to us and making sure the ceremony felt completely personal and true to who we are.

On the day itself, Jo delivered the ceremony absolutely beautifully. She has such a wonderful presence and a natural, eloquent way of speaking that made everything feel effortless. She set the tone for the entire day perfectly and helped create a moment that we, and our guests, will remember forever.

Jo has such a calm, warm and friendly presence, which immediately put everyone at ease. So many of our family and friends commented afterwards on how beautiful the ceremony was and what an incredible celebrant we had. That really says everything.

Jo, we are forever grateful for everything you did for us and for helping make the best day of our lives so incredibly special. We feel so lucky to have found you and could not recommend you more highly.

They are always inclusive and welcoming, regardless of the beliefs of those attending.

You can trust Humanist Ceremonies celebrants: We are DBS-checked, fully insured, and regularly peer reviewed for quality assurance. We are committed to a code of conduct, and have a transparent and robust complaints process in the rare case of a problem. We all pay a monthly fee to Humanists UK to further support the work of the charity, and are part of a regional network for like-minded celebrants for support and learning.
